Friday: Lunch Dates, Letter Photos, and Lots of Sports

March 18, 2016

Friday started out like this:
Allie and I have a bracket to win.
Actually, my day started out with a 8:30am statistics recitation and then a 10:30am chemistry lecture. THEN I watched March Madness with Allie in the Institute. We were waiting for Ashly to finish up her classes so the Fierce Felicias could go on a Friday lunch date, but it turns out that once Ashly finally answered her phone at 12:30, she slept through her alarm. And all her classes. So we went to Morty's anyways because sometimes things like that just happen and you still deserve fries anyway. College rocks and I'm so grateful for the Fierce Felicias that make me laugh my head off every day.

After a quick power nap and border-line being late, Ashly and I went over to the Kappa Delta house for the beginning of White Rose Weekend (which I LOVE) and Ashly going through Second Degree.
Don't worry, we weren't the last ones there so that doesn't mean we were all that late. I think that the people that walk by our house over White Rose Weekend are always a little bit confused about why there's a giant house full of girls in white dresses.
Whatever. We look good.

After Second Degree, photos, and some sisterhood games, the KD's headed down to Castle Manor for the Jersey Jam party. It was all fun and games until I was blasted with a water gun in the face at like 1am. Then it was freezing. Oh, and we lost Autumn for a hot minute.
Go March Madness.
What is going on with me hair in these photos below??
It's like a square. Whatever.
Yeah, I'm wearing my high school Dance Team jersey.
Once a Bronc, always a Bronc <3
I am so excited for the rest of White Rose Weekend and for Ashly to finally go through initiation on Sunday and become an official and active member of Kappa Delta! In the short little semester and a half that I've been a part of this amazing organization, I am so grateful that I accepted my bid and joined this amazing sisterhood that has allowed me to meet some of the most wonderful and inspirational women to walk this planet. I love Kappa Delta.
Here's a really close photo of my face
in case you forgot what I look like.
Ta kala diokomen.
Love, Caitie the KD
