There was another blood drive at USU on Tuesday so I once again convinced Edwin to donate with me, promising him yet another Costa Vida meal. And I even got Ashly to donate too. That's a big deal. I am a great person.
We also decided that I needed a hair cut so my personal stylists hit that up. Dear Mama Laura, don't worry they just thinned it and I do still have hair. Just less of it.
After Ashly and I's adventure up to Tony Grove Lake, we went to the Pike party (a frat on campus at Utah State) for Friday the Thirteenth and to celebrate the conclusion of their philanthropy week.

| look at the cute matching girls |
Saturday was International Girl's Day (a holiday created by National Kappa Delta that celebrates girls) and so Kappa Delta Beta Delta helped a local Girl Scout with an event that she planned in order to earn her Gold Award. I don't really know any thing about Girl Scouts (yet) but I'm pretty sure that the Gold Award is the highest you can get.
I love the videos and commercials that have recently been released about girl power because I think that there is so much pressure on girls to be "perfect" in the eyes of the world today when really, it doesn't even matter what the world thinks of you because no matter what you are amazing and can do and be whatever you want. This video was released by National Kappa Delta about International Girl's Day and then there's this video by Barbie and the #likeagirl video that does a killer job at explaining how awesome girls are. Because they are.
You is kind. You is smart. You is important.
Love, Caitie
