So Long, Farewell[s]

June 12, 2016

Missions are amazing. I haven't been on one (yet), but they're awesome.
There's only one part of them that really sucks though; farewells.
Saying goodbye is hard. And today I had to do it twice.
So that was a little-A LOT-brutal.

My cousin, Riley, has been called to serve in the Chile Santiago East mission and leaves next week for the MTC in Chile. In her farewell talk, Riley talked about all the humanitarian work that our church does around the world and for the impact and blessing that service can be. She is going to be the cutest missionary ever and I am so excited for her to go and spread the happy message of the gospel with the people in Chile. GO TEAM SISTER LANGLOPS!
YEAH WE WERE CRYING OKAY
I had to make this one black and white because both of our faces were bright pink from crying
but whatever, it's still way cute because Carl and Wally forever
she's going to go out there and make the world so much happier
Both of these goodbyes were equally hard but you guys, THE FIERCE FELICIAS WON'T BE TOGETHER AGAIN FOR 22 MONTHS. That's so long, holy cow. Of course, Wendy (Abbey's mom who we all love so dearly), had decorated their house all Disney-themed because Abbey has been called to serve in the California Anaheim mission. It was the cutest. The happiest mission on Earth for the happiest human on Earth. Abbey leaves for the Mexico MTC on Tuesday morning because she is speaking Spanish on her mission. Yay Hermana Spencer!! Abbey is going to be an amazing missionary out there and I am so excited to hear about all of her adventures when we have the greatest Fierce Felicias reunion (once Sister Allie Winter comes home from Alabama).
last Fierce Felicias photo for twenty-two months
I carry Hermana Spencer around in my wallet with me now & have no shame
Both Max and Hannah Jane are gone this week so I'm the only child at our house.
I haven't been the only child in like sixteen years.
I don't know how to only child.
Love, Caitie
