Conference Weekend

April 3, 2016

So while my family is off adventuring in Moab/Grand Canyon/all those places, I've been studying for chem exams and drowning in homework. It's a fun time up here at Utah State right now with the semester beginning to wind down to a close and professors cramming as much in as they possibly can in the last four weeks. Thank you so much.
Friday: Pike had their "Get Silly" dance party Friday night and Edwin & Alex came up from Jackson for it (bless because they brought little puppy Cooper too). And apparently, Pike decided to play Capture the Flag with our KD flag so I had to sneak their flag and run to the KD house to hide it in the middle of the party. They never found it.
Saturday: Edwin, Ashly, Alex, and I drove up Logan Canyon then hiked through the snow (and a little bit on the trail) to go hammock. Because the sun was already starting to set, it was pretty cold outside and we only lasted like an hour before we might've started to turn to ice out there. Fun fact: Edwin can climb trees like a monkey.
note to self: don't wear shorts when off-trail hiking
I DIDN'T KNOW WE WERE GOING OFF THE TRAIL
Sunday: After General Conference, a steak and potatoes dinner (shoutout to Mama Wendy for sending Abbey steak), and some studying, Allie, Abbey, and I went over to a random park and did a super fast photo shoot with Abbey and her mission stuff because she wanted a new profile picture. Abbey is going to be the greatest missionary ever and the spanish-speakers of Anaheim better lookout because this Swing Dance Queen roomie of mine is going to be there in a few months.
Go watch and listen to conference again because it was amazing
(as it always is honestly).
Love, Caitie
