This semester I'm taking an Institute class called LDS Hymns and I am really excited about it because I love, love, love the hymns and how quickly they can bring the Spirit. Plus, singing in a big group where you're voice isn't the only one being heard is always a good time. I love the First Presidency's Preface that is included in the very front of the hymnbooks because of the way that we are encouraged to sing hymns in more than just church meetings. We are asked to incorporate the hymns into our daily lives and I think that that is something everyone can work on. So what I am going to do for the next little while is share a different hymn or church song every Sunday on my blog. It's called #sundaysongs. Here we go!
